EXTINCTION OF SPECIES IN THE YASUNÍ
Why are some species going extinct?
Due to the oil and mining operations that they do in the Yasuní National Park, it affects the place too much since in order to extract the oil you have to remove everything around it and only land remains, this greatly affects marine animals such as those on land. Why? Because when they remove everything around them to be able to extract the oil from the animals, they leave them homeless and all the vegetation is lost and everything they remove from the land they throw it into the lakes and if there is a spill of Oil kills marine animals and completely destroys all of nature.
There are some animals that are in danger of extinction, for example: The Harpy Eagle, The Black Cayman, The Poisonous Fur Little Frog. Why are they in danger? Some of these animals are hunting them, others are becoming extinct due to little vegetation due to the extraction of oil in the Yasuní. With the extraction of oil, it damages the ecosystem and puts many animals at risk since it is leaving them without their homes and without vegetation and little by little they are killing each of these exotic animals and in a short time they will extinguish them. They are also becoming extinct due to illegal hunting, the people who do it do not realize that little by little they will no longer see any animal like that. What governments say when they exploit oil in those areas what they say is "oil activities have a small environmental impact" and that is a lie, they do not realize the damage they are doing by doing that.
We have to take into account the risks that are run when doing these actions because at any moment certain species can become extinct and the lakes and nature itself can be seriously polluted and that would be a FATAL environmental tragedy. We must take care of the environment and the species that live there. Nature is essential to our lives because they give us pure oxygen.
